A One Of A Kind Test Drive With Dodge

I hate test driving new cars...said no one ever.

There is something so fun and exciting about shopping for a new car and taking it for a test drive. Don't you agree? While we aren't in the market for a new car right now (I just got a new car last year, but I would love for Billy to eventually get an SUV!), I still like to know what is out there for when the time comes, and I like to see what is 'hot' in the car world!

I recently had the opportunity to visit my local Dodge dealership to test drive the new 2014 Dodge Durango. I remember what the previous models look like, but the 2014 Durango seriously has no limits and blows those out of the water. It has THREE rows, is bolder, sleeker and more technologically advanced than ever before. I mean, look....

This Durango can seat seven, offers Best-in-Class 25 hwy mpg, and has an 8-speed automatic transmission.

When I was test driving the Durango, I could definitely feel that 8-speed transmission. It was powerful, but at the same time it was such a smooth ride. Sometimes SUVs can feel "too big" to me when driving, but this one didn't. I was so impressed with the overall look inside the car (the touchscreen has every option you could ever want), and I felt like I was driving such a classy car.

Two of my favorite features in the Durango are the vented seats (so cool!) and the exclusive Blu-ray^TM Entertainment Center. Who wouldn't love those things?

Another thing I noticed was how much storage the Durango provided. Perfect for those of you who have kids. There were multiple areas in it that you could open up (like the middle center console in the backseat) to find more storage that I never imagined it having. Definitely a huge perk.

The service we had was outstanding, too. I have to say thank you to Frank (from Crown dealership in Dublin at Perimeter) who was so knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and the best part was that we could tell he is really passionate about his job.

I believe it was rated best-in-class interior with the roominess of a mid-size sedan. Dodge has really stepped its game up lately, don't you think?
