LETS BE HONEST, THE BETTER PART OF ME.

Yesterday was my husbands birthday.

There is no doubt in my mind that I'm a better person with him by my side.

Not only is he really nice to look at, he's just that type of person who is warm, friendly, and is so helpful in any situation. I've probably repeated that same line three times here on the blog, but it's true.

He inspires me to be a better person.

Which is why I keep him around...you know, so I don't go and make dumb decisions.
{or just because I'm pretty crazy about him...}

This weekend we had reservations at a new restaurant here in Columbus, called The Pearl, for his birthday dinner. This place has only been open a month or so and books up rather quickly so I had to book it pretty early out, but I knew he would like it. The menu and drink selection {get a moscow mule! Delicious!) is right up his alley and I had heard great things about it. Being that he puts up with my pescatarian (vegetarian + fish if you're confused) ways all the time, I was bound and determined to get this man one of the best burgers around and that's exactly what we did {he loved it!}

We celebrated all weekend with food. dessert. dessert again. and some gifts.

My parents had us over for another celebratory dinner and yep, you guessed it, indulged in dessert again.

That's what birthdays are about, right?

I'm so thankful to have met, totally crushed on, and then finally..married this man.
