Don't Mess With Texas...Or Blogger Vacations.

AHH! 

Hey hey hey there my little cowgirls and cowboys (Billy? Beau? DDHP?)

I'm back, but unfortunately for me that means vacation is over (one of the best ones at that) and I'm not in the great state of Texas anymore with my blog friend turned best friend, day drinking at the rodeo for hours on end, consuming large portions of Tex Mex and BBQ (yup, this girl consumed meat almost every day on this trip. hey, I said I would splurge..), and soaking up the sunny weather. Instead, I've been in and out of airports (including delays), I have a dog that needs to be loved on, and my eyes are struggling to stay open. Meaning they are basically closed right now.

So, here's how it's going to go down....

I have hundreds of pictures to upload and edit and then I will report back with all the honky tonk details. For now, since I don't have a full recap yet, I'm here with a teaser, if you will, of what's to come in the next 3 blog posts.

 They are going to be GOOD, trust me. You won't want to miss it. 

If you don't like blog friends, or Texas, then you may want to miss it but if I were you, I wouldn't that's for damn sure...

Starting with tomorrow for SPD. 

It's Texas related and is something I surprised Steph and Beau with at the beginning of our trip!

Speaking of that blonde bombshell Steph...

She is the WHOLE reason for my current state of depression. I'm so lucky to have someone in my life that is SO dang hard to say goodbye to. I'm so blessed in general to know her. to be best friends with her. to have her say to me "I love everything about you"...it's true! Her words (maybe a bit intoxicated words...but words), not mine. ;)

Meeting friends via blogging is no joke.

 If you were to ask me one piece of advice about meeting a blog friend? It would be absolutely to just do it. A few phone calls/Facetime session's first wouldn't be a bad idea though. Just sayin'. I've received many questions/comments asking about our friendship history and if you want to read more: go here to Steph's post today (again-love her).

The fact that I'm not sitting right there, right now, makes me a little sad.

OK, a lot sad. Who wouldn't be?

BUT...extremely happy to have these memories I'm about to share with you soon!
I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I take that back-I might trade them in exchange for having the winning ticket in the lotto tonight that we all bought together because then we'd have that second house in Texas. Right by the Howard's and all this would happen weekly. Can you even imagine...?
