When I first saw Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere wearing this outfit, I about passed out.
One because I'm seriously in love with every part of it, and two because I had just put together an identical outfit with aztec pants I bought recently {which means I can't be that crazy for liking all these together}. I wasn't sure what to pair with them at first, but once again, Emily shows us how it's done.
I've seen all kinds of different patterns on pants lately and I can't say I'm hating it.
If this is a trend you are on the fence about, I suggest buying an inexpensive pair and trying them out before you invest in more. I've seen some cute pairs from Charlotte Russe (where I got mine-hopefully I will get some outfit pictures with them soon) and Delias. Pair them with a solid color top, blazer, or even a chambray shirt!
What do you think about printed pants?
Are they taking colored denims spot?
*in review, here are my other fall lust lists: shoes and blazers.

Also, I have to ask you guys, do you have an MJR Sales?
It's a big warehouse that has Limited, Express, and Victoria's Secret brands for ridiculously low prices {or maybe this is just a Columbus thing?}. It looks like they are online, but I don't see many items from the brands I saw while I was in the store.
The other day, I bought black work pants, a peplum striped shirt, and a purple pencil skirt (all from The Limited) for $30.00.
I call that "ballin' on a budgettttttttt"
They have a huge selection of work appropriate clothes that I almost feel silly for buying them full price before. Next trip, I'm taking Billy to stock up on some work shirts. As we all know, Express's $70.00 price tag for a button down chaps my you-know-what and their customer service is even worse!

....and who is now legit depressed wishing they were back in college celebrating move in tonight?!
I mean, besides me?

I just don't think I could do a printed pant. But then again, I'm completely fashion-clueless... lol, I discussed it on my blog today ;) I know YOU will rock them though miss thang!!
ReplyDeleteI was late (fashionably, of course) to the colored jeans party but I'm thinking I need to get on the print pants asap. That blazer look is everything I want in my life right now.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll make my man pretend we're in college, moving in for the first time tonight. Totally miss that shiz.
yeah, just cannot do the printed pant, it reminds of 1985 and the outfits my mom made me wear, I also feel like I do not need any number of small flowers pasted across my rear... and where would I wear them? But I never did colored denim either.
ReplyDeletePoor phone = (

I've never in my life heard of MJR Sales. I just checked and I will be shopping online there shortly. Thanks for sharing! xo
ReplyDeleteI looooove the printed pants, and I die for that leather peplum she is wearing! I've only heard of MJR Sales becaus my cousin works for Victoria's Secret but I think it might only be in Columbus since those brands have a corporate office there? Not sure though!
ReplyDeleteI seriously wish that I could pull this look off! Unfortunately with my body shape I don't think that's something I could do.. BOO. You werk it!
ReplyDeleteI am a printed denim fan for sure! I actually just scooped up some really cute floral ones at Target last weekend. $20!!! Yes, please!

I'm not so sure about the printed pants on my rear end! I've got a big one so I think it would look like a big mess! HA! On you, I'm sure they look great!
ReplyDeleteUm, I think I need to come to Cbus just to check out this MJR!! Sounds like a wise investment in my closet!
ReplyDeleteI looooove printed pants. I have many pairs- they're so much fun to wear.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this MJR sales place you speak of, but I'm definitely going to have to look into it rather than continuing to buy overpriced work pants at express!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE floral print pants! I thought I was going to hate them at first, but I tried them on and loved them
