Win A Girls Night Out At Applebees!

By now, you all know that I love and appreciate a good girls' night out.

As much as I adore that husband of mine, girl nights are good for the soul.

They also, for the most part (in our group of girls), include fabulous food and cocktails.

I will give you another tip about me...

Feed me and I'm the happiest person ever.

There, I said it.

I tend to get lightheaded grouchy when I go too long without eating.

So combine all three things above and I'm a happy camper.

{feel free to make a mental note if you ever go out with me. wink wink}

....and that's just what we did the other night.

Since Billy and I eat out on the weekends fairly often (the man's metabolism is unreal), I had already heard of Applebee's Girls' Night Out when we ate there once before. I saw a pamphlet on our table about it, and I knew I needed to go with my girls one night. Girls' Night Out at Applebee's offers some amazing drink specials (half off a bottle of wine!?) for women.

Applebee's has a pretty relaxed and low-key environment, and you get so much food for your dolla (ahem, I mean dollar...), which is exactly what we were looking for.

Not to mention, they have so many drinks to chose from on their menu.

When we went it was really nice because we pretty much had the whole bar area to ourselves, and we didn't feel too crowded!

Since I pretty much have sangria running through my blood this summer (have you seen my Instagram pics the past month?), I decided to go with the Berry Sangria. It is SO good and not too sweet. It has green apples, oranges, and limes in it. They also have a White Peach Sangria that is next on my list to conquer. My best friend Lindsay went with their Summer Squeeze cocktail and it was amazing. She described it as summer in a glass....aka really refreshing and yummy.

We all split the Appetizer Sampler and really liked it. My personal favorite is the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Yum in the tum. Moving on...for dinner Lindsay and Marissa got sandwiches, and I went with the shrimp fajitas. All 3 of our entrees were delicious!

We had a great time, just us girls enjoying some drinks and catching up.

Applebee's was the perfect setting for it, and we will definitely be back (probably soon) for another girls' night.

Next time you are wanting a break from your busy schedule, your husbands (I won't tell), blogging, etc. have a girls' night out at your local Applebee's and enjoy yummy food and drinks at the bar! Besides, life is better shared with your best friends, right? That's exactly what Applebee's thinks, too.
