Life Happens.

As you know, we are supposed to be in Texas right now on vacation
 visiting Steph and Beau and traveling to the Frio river to meet Kristen and Shalyn. 

Well, sometimes life has different plans for us.

To make a long story short-Billy's grandpa has been battling cancer and things took a turn for the worse the night before we were supposed to leave. We made the decision to cancel our trip in case something were to happen while we were gone, and just postpone our trip a few weeks or a month (we WILL make it there soon). We felt it was the best decision as much as it sucked (really sucked) to have to cancel on Steph and Beau.

Steph wrote the sweetest, most amazing post to me (and explaining the situation) on Tuesday, so if you haven't read that yet-click here to be filled in.

It is quite possibly the sweetest thing I've ever read (don't you agree?!) and

 I feel beyond blessed to have Steph and Beau as our best friends.
I love, love, love them to pieces.

Shortly after Steph wrote that post on Tuesday and around the time that our plane would have been landing in Texas, Billy's grandpa passed away.

Talk about knowing that we made the right decision to stay.

His services are tomorrow and Saturday, so we will be heading to Cleveland for those. 

If you could say a little prayer for the Krysh family, I would so appreciate it.

Billy's grandpa will be greatly missed as he was the "glue" to their family.

RIP Grandpa...

Steph and BBFT-Thank you for being so understanding and supporting us. Once you get back from the river, we hope we can book our new flights and finally make it there. Please bring the 'staches for the airport next time. Zookies, ZOOKIES! Kristen and Shay-I WILL be meeting you two gorgeous girls soon if it's the last thing I do! ;) MWAH!
