Happy Friday, party people!
What are the weekend plans?
Billy is actually going to the Cavs vs. Heat NBA game tonight. His brother got them really good tickets for Christmas. I'm really excited for him! He is going to love it. As for me, relaxation is the only thing I've got on my mind.
Last night, as I mentioned yesterday, the girls and I went to see the Vow. I melt during chick flicks and I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm that girl that sits in the theatre and goes "oooh" "aah" inside. Well, this movie looked like just my cup of tea {like the Notebook}. While I liked it, I'm still undecided about how I feel about the ending. Us girls came to the concensus that we would've loved to see something more dramatic, something leaving us feeling better about it, something more clear cut! If you have seen the movie, what did you think of the ending?
Also, if I could look like any celebrity..I may pick Rachel McAdams. She looks gorgeous with any hair color, any outfit, and in my opinion..has a great bod. Girlfriend rocks every look and doesn't try very hard. Don't we typically hate girls like this? ;)
I've been missing Florida a lot lately. Especially, the warm weather and the fact that I could wear sandals. I've been inspired by spring skirts lately and can't wait for spring to come so I can add some to my wardrobe...
have this skirt
and love it.
adore this outfit!
What skirts do you love?!
I was going to share Part 2 of our "Blacation" (as Steph would call it), aka our trip to Naples, but that will come on Monday. Sorry friends. It'll be good though, so don't miss it.
Instead, I'm going to join in with one of my favorite blogs EVER, yes EVER - Kelle @ Enjoying the Small Things. Most of you have probably already visited her blog before as she is pretty much famous, but if you haven't, you need to HURRY THE HECK UP and click her link and hit FOLLOW. like ASAP. Kelle is a writer (with a book coming out), mommy to the 2 most precious girls, and is so gorgeous. She is so talented and her blog inspires me everyday. Anyways-she does a Friday Photo Dump with pictures from Instagram.
Thought it would be fun to play along and add some unseen pictures (unless you follow me on Instagram) from our trip to Florida and some other random ones...
Last thing.

ReplyDeleteHappy Friday my friend!!! :) You and your love of lace is drifting over to me... I love it! So cute. Just like you. HAHA. :)
ReplyDeleteLove these outfits!
ReplyDeleteLove that cream lace skirt, it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen The Vow yet, I really wanted to but I've heard very mixed reviews.
Ok i totally agree with you on the ending of The Vow! It was too open-ended for me.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I'm with you...thought the Vow was ok {made me want to race home and watch the Notebook!}. I did see the real life couple on the Today Show earlier this week and their story is pretty amazing. I can't imagine permanently losing my short term memory!
ReplyDeleteI have the navy & white version of the hot pink maxi you have on here and it is such a fun and light skirt! I have already worn in this winter but it was SO cold! Can't wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the first quote!
ReplyDeleteOk last night you also learned I lose all control during titanic previews. Love you boo.
ReplyDeleteI will take one of each of the outfits you posted! Please and thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great quote! And I absolutely LOVE that turquoise skirt. If I had the money to do it, I would have an entire wardrobe of dresses and skirts!
ReplyDeletehad fun last night. still torn about the movie's ending. I want skirts. And dresses. HURRY UP SPRING! You're pretty. Thanks for the 5 bones to Sweet Tea Paperie. The end.
ReplyDeletelove those skirts! the vow... blah! but i think by them posting the pic of the real couple at the end and the little statement about them still being married with 2 kids that you were to just assume they obviously got back together and lived happily ever after but i'm like you i didn't care that much for it! have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteUgh I am DYING to see that movie but am kinda bummed that you didn't love the ending. Chances are if you didn't cry over it, neither will I. Shucks.
ReplyDeleteAnywho-just stopped by to tell my famous Ghetto Cowboy that I hope you have a great day!! Super jealous of your relaxing night...we're heading to the ranch this afternoon to shoot shit. Fun stuff...lemme tell ya.
What a great quote! Happy Weekend:)
ReplyDeleteLove those skirts!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Where did you get the lace skirt from? I've been lookin everywhere for on of those!
ReplyDeleteRachel McAdams is a doll, Love her!
ReplyDeleteYou already know what I thought about the ending....it had a great storyline and then the ending just fizzled out!! I KNEW it was going to be bad toward the end when she learned about her dads affair which btw, DID NOT HAPPEN in the book and the book IS the TRUE story of what this movie is BASED upon ...and he was with the other busted looking hippy girl.......WHHHHHY would the director DO THAT TO YOU!??? In the book they NEVER busted up, they are STILL together in real life, THIS MOVIE WAS WACK, the only thing great about it? CHANNING AND RACHY!!!
ReplyDeleteYou always have cute clothes.
Kay, bye.
Totally agree about the so-so ending of The Vow! It's such a sweet (and sad) story, but I thought the movie could have been a lot better. I was still sitting there, waiting for more to happen...and it was just over? Oh well, The Notebook still reigns.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I felt the exact same way about The Vow! The end left me....underwhelmed. Have a wonderful night relaxing! :)
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and LOVE it.. I can't wait to keep reading more! Love that quote at the beginning of your post - so true! Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing and fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Allie
You so purdy, friend!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI felt like The Vow just kind of ended .... I felt like it needed more ... or SOMETHING!!!
Have a great weekend!
I TOTALLY agree about The Vow. It was like they just ran out of film and randomly stopped. I liked it, but would have loved it had the ending been better. Not that I'm complaining about 2 hours of Channing Tatum at all, just in case the universe wants to send him my way. :)
