In the SPOTLIGHT...{Carrie Underwood Sequin Top?}

Last week I received an uber uber sweet email from Kaitlin at Raids of Orange.

Her email was one of the nicest things I've ever read and she asked me if I would do a guest post for her today on why I first started blogging and any tips/advice I had for bloggers who are just starting out. Really...measely ole' me?! I was flattered to say the least.

Well, she gave me an idea and I decided I wanted to pay it forward. I want to put a few of my favorite blogs recently {once again, Erin, we read minds} and even some girls that I went to high school with and am real life friends with...in the SPOTLIGHT. Yes, I do have friends if you're wondering. like you even had to wonder.


I know what it's like to first start a blog and be absolutely clueless about posting & even if people will want to read what you are writing about.

No, it's not silver. No, I don't have her luscious blonde locks and legs that are perfection, but it's a good shot I'd like to think.

I immediately texted the top info to miss Pink Lou Lou herself so she could add to her collection if she wished. Now, I just need her to travel to Ohio and put the damn poof in my hair because clearly I can't even master a hair tutorial.

Tonight, I will be set, spiking, and serving with my vball team at our tournament and then going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter with the hubs. Which, by the way, took absolutely zero whining or complaining from myself to get him to go...he was willing. Unreal. :)

Tomorrow Billy's 2 cousins come in town and it's going to be fun in the sun ALL weekend long!
