Finally FRIDAY {Change for Change}



Are you guys just as happy as I am that today it's Friday?!?!

I think we should all *cheers* eachother for making it to the holiday weekend :)

Today, I have a very special project to share with you. Let's get to talking about it, shall we?

I'm sure most of you know cutie Ashley with The Shine Project by now. If you don't, click "The Shine Project" link and you can read more about her awesomeness there. Well, she has OUTDONE herself once again...in an amazing way. I really admire her for setting the bar high with her goals and making her dreams come true.

I urge you all to watch this video she put together. I had chills when she first sent it to me a couple weeks ago and couldn't wait to get it out on my blog to share with my favorite readers.

This new project of hers is called CHANGE FOR CHANGE.

Here is some more info about it.

Ashley's goal is to raise $20,000 for The Shine Project Scholarship Fund by the end of October. Ashley states, "the money will specifically be going to four students at Cesar Chavez High School in Phoenix, Arizona. This will be accomplished in two ways. The first way is by doing CHANGE for CHANGE jars. You have the opportunity to get involved by pledging to do a CHANGE jar. I have tags to send you, and for the next three months you will throw your leftover change in this jar. Those of you who are brave will also get your friends, neighbors, and businesses around you to to show a little love and donate."

 

HER GOAL IS TO HAVE 100 OF US {AWESOME BLOGGERS} PLEDGE TO RAISE $100 BY OCTOBER.

The second I watched the video I felt inspired to participate in this.

Today marks the day I have officially pledged to raise $100 for this amazing cause.
