Cookout, Cornhole, and the Columbus Zoo

Happy Monday friends!

Can we rewind back to maybe, Saturday, please?

What a weekend...no big plans and hot hot hot weather that was perfect for the pool. Saturday we went to a friends pool and soaked up the sun all day long with some mixed drinks in hand. Billy and I decided to have everyone over to our house Saturday night for a cookout, drinks, cornhole, and some crazy living room dancing (we keep it classy). We are so glad we did because it was SO much fun!

On Sunday, we went to the Columbus Zoo. The Columbus Zoo has been rated as 1 of the Top 3 Zoo's in the U.S. We live about 10 minutes from it and really enjoy going as much as we can. Within the past year, the Zoo added a new Polar bear exhibit and it is awesome. I will share some pictures with you from it because we got to see the polar bears during a feeding and it was so neat.

{{I know last Thursday I mentioned posting my favorite work out exercises and then failed as a blogger on Friday to post any...I felt a little under the weather so I decided I will share those tomorrow}}

and here are some pictures from the Zoo that I took while at the polar bear exhibit...

If you look closely..you can see that he is standing on the platform for the underwater viewing. We were up top but in the exhibit if you walk down some steps you can watch the polar bears underneath the water. They were standing on that platform waiting for the food to drop from up above us.

...and here's a picture of the river that some of the zoo is on. There were a lot of sailboats out yesterday so I had to snap a pic. My parents house is about 2 miles past those trees :)
